Direct cremation is the simplest, most affordable cremation option. There is no funeral service beforehand: we bring your loved one into our care, handle the permits and paperwork, perform the cremation, and return the ashes to you. Families are free to hold a memorial on their own terms, whenever and wherever feels right.
Our direct cremation starts at $1,995 and pet cremation starts at $795. Pricing is transparent and flat — what's included is listed up front, with no hidden fees and no upsell maze. See our pricing page for the full breakdown.

A traditional funeral usually includes embalming, a viewing, a formal service, and a casket before burial or cremation — which adds significant cost. Direct cremation skips the service beforehand: we cremate your loved one simply and respectfully and return the ashes, leaving your family free to hold a memorial whenever and however feels right. It is the most affordable and least stressful option.
Yes. Texas law requires a 48-hour waiting period after the time of death before a cremation may take place, except in limited circumstances defined by the state. We use that time to obtain the required authorizations and permits and keep you informed at each step.
Texas requires several documents before a cremation: a death certificate, a written cremation authorization from the person with the legal right to control disposition, a burial-transit permit, and sign-off from the attending physician or, where required, the medical examiner or justice of the peace. We prepare and handle all of this paperwork for you.
Texas sets an order of priority for who may authorize a cremation — generally the surviving spouse, then the deceased's adult children, then parents, and so on. We will help you confirm who holds that authority and complete the authorization correctly.
No. A casket is never required for cremation. Your loved one is cremated in a simple, dignified alternative container, and the ashes are returned to you. An urn or keepsake is entirely optional.
The ashes are returned to you in a respectful basic container, typically a short time after the cremation is complete and the paperwork is finalized. You are free to keep them, place them in an urn, or scatter them where it is permitted.
